Questions before your Camino
Which Camino de Santiago routes can I plan?
CaminoGO includes the Camino Francés, Camino Portugués, Camino del Norte and Camino Primitivo, among other routes. Choose your route, set your dates and adjust your daily stops and rest days in the stage planner.
Can I use CaminoGO offline?
Download your trip’s maps and route data while connected, before setting out. You can then view the downloaded area, route and saved places without mobile data. AI answers, new community updates and cloud syncing need an internet connection.
Can CaminoGO record my walk while the phone is locked?
You start and stop walk recording yourself. To continue recording when the screen is locked or you switch apps, enable background location access. Access limited to while using the app is not enough for background recording.
What can Camino AI help me with?
Ask about a menu, sign, accommodation or your route by voice, photo or text. Face-to-face translation lets two people take turns on the same phone. AI requires internet access and your consent; microphone permission is only needed for voice features.
Can I book an albergue in CaminoGO?
CaminoGO helps you find albergues, guesthouses and hotels and check their contact details. Confirm availability, prices and reservations directly with the property. Listings and trip cost estimates do not guarantee a bed or a booking.
Which languages does CaminoGO support?
The app supports English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Korean, Japanese, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese. You can also ask Camino AI to answer in your language.
How long does a Trip Pass last, and what does it cost?
Trip Pass options cover 7 or 30 days. Check the included features, usage allowances and local price in the app before purchasing. The final amount is shown in the App Store or Google Play purchase confirmation.
Can I plan my Camino before arriving in Spain or Portugal?
Yes. You can explore routes and prepare an itinerary before travelling. The location button uses your actual location; when you are away from supported Camino routes, nearby points of interest may be limited. Open a route preview to explore your destination.
Is CaminoGO available for iPhone and Android?
CaminoGO is preparing to launch on iOS and Android and is not yet publicly available in the stores. Sign up on this website to be notified at launch.

AI photo sessions on our server last about 30 minutes. Device history and AI providers have separate retention rules.

We do not sell your personal data or use it for third-party advertising.
Your private records
Your diary and personal walking records are private. Manage them in the app or request account deletion.
